Everything has its yin and yang (feminine and masculine forms). Being agitated, the masculine is formed being still, the feminine is formed. The mutual change between both is Taichi (the great supremacy). Inspired by the idea of taichi, martial art masters devised a new form of martial art called taichiquan.
